 Postmodernism 
Bricolage in postmodernism theory is genre bending & hybrid genres. Bricolage creating an art form existing resources that is different compare to the pass. We tend to classify a genres to movie such as horror, comedy, romantic and more. Classifying films into genres is a form of modernist structuring. Bending genres is to bending the classification of a films, we can also know as to mix two genres or more film genres. The developing  of the characteristics of genres creates an evolving effect, churning out new generic characteristics. 

Paranorman is directed by Sam Fell and Chris Butler. This movie released on 3 August 2012 in Mexico. Paranorman is a stop motion that combined with the latest 3D technology.


Synopsis
This story is about a boy, Norman an 11 years old boy who live in a small town of Blithe Hollow, he does not like to talk with other because of his ability. He can see and talk with people that already pass away what we call as "ghost". Due to this strange ability people judge him because his behaviour different compare to normal people. All his friend including his family squeeze him and do not believe him. One day his uncle Prederghast come to find him and give Norman a mission to stop the witch curse. The town has been cursed by witch, Agatha for centuries. If Norman can't successfully stop the witch's curse, the seven zombies that were evilly sealed by the witch will be resurrected and invaded the town. At the end of the movie Norman successfully end the witch curse.

Paranorman is under the hybrid genres because it contain more than one genres in this movie for example some comedy element and also action. Firstly , we can clearly know that Paranorman is a horror movie ,  a film in which make people feel uncertainty , panic or something’s unnatural things  
happen, for example dead people coming to life . There are three type aspect to recognize a horror movie which are unnatural, psychological and massacre/slashe flicks. Paranorman is under the unnatural category because of the bodily mutilation/mutation. At the beginning of the movie, Norman keep talking with his grandma then his father shout to him that his grandma is already dead. Norman can see the dead people and even can communicate with them. Besides, there is one scene when Norman walking out from his house going to school. On the way to school there are a lot of ghost talking to him. Next scene is when Norman going to grave and read the story, the seven zombies chasing Norman to ask him to emancipate them.

Action is also one of the genres in this movie, action film is continuous high energy stunts and activities. An action films the main action center around a male action hero， the main character is also as a hero in this films because he try to safe his town. In an action films must have good person versus evil. Norman is a good person in this film because he wanted to safe his whole town even though he is afraid. Norman want to stop Agatha curse circulating in their town. Besides, the reason paranorman also is an action flim is because it involve chase scenes, fights and activities for example Norman at the graveyard of the seven people who cursed by Agatha and reading the story to the Agatha. Prederghast spirit tells him must read the story before sundown. When Norman is reading the book to Agatha , Alvin comes and stop Norman reading the book. Unfortunately, Norman can not finish the book before sundown. The seven zombies were awake and chasing Norman and Alvin.

Lastly, comedy also a cross genres in Paranorman. Comedies are films that can entertain the audiences. There are a lot of entertain via exaggeration the situation and character behaviours.For example when a man is buying the a snake by using the vending machine he saw the seven zombies are coming. The snack fell out very slowly but him still waiting it to come out. When the zombies almost arrived besides of him he ran away. When the snack is fell out from the vending machines he quickly run back and run away. Another scene is when the seven zombies are chasing the car. When Neil’s brother Mitch Downe driving the car seven zombies were chasing at the back. In this scenes there are a lot of exaggeration on their behaviour and facial expression this make the chasing scene become very funny.

In my conclusion, the director of Paranorman is used the hybrid genres in this movie which including horror, action and comedy. Hybrid genres make the whole movie more entertaining and interesting. Besides, it is a big different compare to the film that only specific using one genres and it also bring different feeling to the audiences.

Train to Busan is directed by Yeon Sang-ho and release on 13 May 2016.The genres of this movie is horror movie. Horror movie may cause the audiences feel intense repugnance, fear, or dread. Britannica, T. E. (2013, August 30). Horror film. The purpose I writing this review is to discuss about this movie is different compare to the other Horror film. There are a lot of subgenres of horror movie for example unnatural, psychological and Massacre. Train to Busan is under unnatural category which is bodily mutilations/mutations Blood suckers, pests, creatures growing within the body, altering the normal body states.
